OUR STORY
After a year of interest meetings, Bible studies, small groups, and monthly worship services Victory Chapel launched on April 21, 2019 at the San Marcos Rec Hall in the heart of San Marcos.
After a 5,000-piece Egg Hunt Celebration in the park, we gathered in the Rec Hall to worship, pray, and cast vision for the future. After renting for a number of months following launch, we acquired our own space not far from the downtown square at 312 W Martin Luther King Dr. Since that time, our church family has grown and expanded, and now we have started a “Victory Promise” campaign to raise funds for the purchase or rental of a larger church facility.
Victory Chapel is affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International and is based out of New Life Austin (www.newlifeaustin.com).
The Dream Team
Our church is built by a growing team of volunteer leaders known as “The Dream Team.” From kids ministries to media to parking lot attendants to musicians and singers, they make the dream of Victory Chapel possible.
Tim & Susan Vacca | Pastor
Tim became the pastor of Victory Chapel in May 2024. The Vaccas work as a team to provide pastoral care and lead the church’s ministries. They are passionate about pastoring, ministry, evangelism, and connecting with people of all ages.
The Vaccas have five kids, Lizzy, Katie, Ezra, Maddie, and Abby.
Tim is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. Susan also earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
